The Real Deals for You Irwin Blue Groove 6X drill bits are excellent for applications where you need to drill medium to large sized holes in wood quickly, and efficiently. 6X bits get their name for their ability to drill through wood and plywood up to 6 times faster than a standard flat bit.
This makes them a preferred choice for many tradesmen, especially electricians, plumbers, boiler engineers, roofers, decking layers, fencing contractors and satellite engineers who often have to drill through a number of joists or supports to run cables and pipes, or insert coach bolts.
The specially developed 'Tri-Flute' cutting design provides a faster chip ejection and the full screw threaded tips virtually eliminates the potential for slippage and aids the pull through of the bit during use.
The three cutting spurs are specially ground to produce clean holes with minimal break out (thus providing a professional finish), and the tampered flute reduces friction and the potential for snagging or binding during drilling. In addition to this, each 6X bit is heat treated to provide extra durability.

All orders are delivered using our vans or our special courier service. Deliveries are normally made on mondays to fridays unless special arrangements has been agreed. Your order will be dispatched within 1 - 3 working days of receipt (or sooner) using the service you have indicated.

For example, if an order is placed by 4pm on a Friday and 1 - 3 working day delivery option was selected, the order will be processed from Monday and estimated delivery day of either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Returns
- If, within 14 days, you wish to return an item for any reason the item must not have been used/opened and in resalable and working order, if this criteria is met the customer will be fully responsible for shipping the item/items back to us, this is to protect us from any form of collection fee we might experience and upon receipt of goods a refund will be issued should the item be in suitable condition.
Back Orders
- If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the expected delivery date and you will have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. A refund would be made in this instance.
