The cutting edges are ideal for hard and soft wire, these are also oil hardened and tempered, and then separately induction-hardened. The Knipex KPX0302180 combination pliers have chrome-plated heads for smooth operation, handles with heavy-duty PVC grip for a softer and more positive grip. Also the Knipex KPX0302180 combination pliers have gripping zones on the head jaws for flat and round material and are suitable for versatile use on almost any job application.
- The Knipex KPX2612200 are an 8-inch 200mm, long nose side cutters that have long flat round jaws that are highly loadable, with elastic precision points with blades for hard wire diameter 2.2mm and medium wire diameter 3.2 mm. The cutting edges are separately induction hardened for durability and longer working life. The edges are hardened to approx 61HRc. These Knipex side cutters are manufactured from a good quality special tool steel material that is oil hardened and come in two handle versions. They are 200mm/8-inch long.
